Hello there! My name is Andrew and I am an aspiring animation producer. Currently, I am a student at SCAD pursuing my B.F.A. in Animation. From a young age, I was inspired by early internet animation on sites like Newgrounds, and this fascination led me to pursue a career in animation. As I delved deeper into the medium of animation, I found myself enjoying almost every step of the production process, especially when I began attending tech school and college where I could collaborate with others. I believe that every step of production presents a set of unique challenges that need to be solved, and I find great satisfaction in doing just that.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of animation for me has been production management. Being able to see a project from pre-production to a final product and making that process as smooth as possible is immensely rewarding. I love planning and organizing production, but my favorite part has to be communicating and collaborating with a team. Working closely with others, listening to their ideas, and problem-solving together has been a source of great fulfillment for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to gain new perspectives from talented artists on different parts of production, ultimately making me a better artist and team member.
Leading productions and producing has been an eye-opening experience for me, and something that I strive to improve upon every day.
